Aworth BIM project features at Digital Construction Week 2018

Great to see our BIM project One Crown Place feature as a ‘BIM In Action’ case study at Digital Construction Week.
Gareth Berridge from Mace and Richard Baglow from IBSECAD presented the case study demonstrating the benefits of BIM throughout design and pre-construction phases on One Crown Place to: de-risk the project during design, benefit of producing construction level detail prior to S/C appointment and utilising Laser Scans for site validation.
The entire project is based on Aworth survey data of the exiting site and BIM modelling for KPF and CBRE. The project demonstrates how a truly cooperative and collaborative approach with CBRE, MACE, KPF, AKT11, AECOM was achieved extremely efficiently.
