Legal & General invests in Taberner House, Croydon

Aworth Survey Consultants are pleased to hear Legal & General have agreed a £100m forward funding deal with residential developer HUB and specialist investor Bridges Fund Management that will see L&G take ownership of the 35-storey building.
The tower will be the tallest of the four at the Taberner House development. The scheme will provide 513 homes, with a mix of affordable, for sale and rental units, as well as a new public realm, a children’s play space and café. At least 40% of the units will be designated as affordable.
We are understandably proud to have provided topographical surveys, measured building surveys and underground services surveys for this key regeneration site in Croydon of the former Croydon Council Offices and The Queens Gardens. Completion of the Taberner House development is expected in 2021.
