Grand Designs starts filming at Lambeth Hospital water tower

Kevin McCloud and the Channel 4 Grand Designs team have starting filming at Lambeth Hospital water tower, London [February 2012]. The imposing and distinctive Venetian Gothic style water tower, built in 1877 to the design of Fowler and Hill is of special architectural interest and historical value. Aworth have worked closely with ACR Architects on this demanding English Heritage specification project since spring 2011, and will follow the renovation of the water tower and conversion of this bespoke property with a great deal of interest.
